The Brigantine Castle was a haunted house attraction on the Jersey Shore that burned down before it was scheduled to be demolished. I started off trying to make an another "ambient' song but it was so horribly boring I figured anyone who listened to it would go into a coma. I added actual sounds from the recordings that played in various parts of the castle during the 70's, some authentic sounds of the northern atlantic and the actual Philadelphia news report about the fire. Along with some other 1970's and 1980's nostalgia samples, I added some additional "horror" sounds from various sources. The second part of the song are manipulated snippets from an arguments on Evil Erny's 3rd floor a few years after the fire and about 10 minutes away. Deadman sings the ever popluar mantra of "Justin, Sheldon, Woody and Mike" along to some slightly latin percussion and eerie synthwork. Various unrelated snippets from TV and the Killer Shrews round out the mix just in time for Halloween, what a coincidence...

Ah the memories...
The first half brings back visions of when I lost my virginity to the mutated cheerleader squad of the past century's miniskirt enhanced, disco obsessed, Lincoln Continental powered, nuclear winter days. Thanks for all the fish Ronny! Get me the f*** out of here! I love that kinda thing. Slowly building from soft gentle conversation into a frantic, psychotic pleading… I give it four stars because it is hard to dance to.
